Heavy rains likely in TN, Kerala, Andaman, Nicobar
Pune, Nov 26 (UNI) Heavy to very rains are likely to occur at most places in Tamil Nadu, south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep islands.
Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema. Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and coastal and north interior Karnataka.
Mainly dry weather may prevail in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in northwest Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha.
Night temperature was appreciably to markedly below normal in Assam, Meghalaya, southeast Madhya Pradesh, north Chattisgarh, some parts of Jharkhand, southwest Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, remaining parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and below normal in Orissa, south Konkan, Goa, south Telangana and some parts of north interior Karnataka. It was appreciably to markedly above normal in northeast Rajasthan, some parts of Himachal Pradesh, south coastal Andhra Pradesh and above normal in some parts of north Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and south interior Karnataka. It was normal in rest of the country.
The northeast monsoon has been vigorous in Tamil Nadu.
