Gyanendra looks forward for betterment after UP's win in Ranji

Lucknow, Nov 26 (UNI) Gyanendra Pandey, coach of Uttar Pradesh cricket team, today said the team's win against Maharashtra in the four-day Ranji Trophy Group 'B' Super League match will see a complete transformation for the betterment.

Talking to UNI, the former national player said UP team had tweaked at the right time and stood a very good chance to reach the knock out stage.

Elated over the victory of UP over Maharashtra in Group 'B' Super League match played at Green Park stadium in Kanpur today, Gyanendra said it was a brilliant team effort and the team will definetely repeat its fast performances.

He was particulary happy with the form of openor Shivakant Shukla and Tanmay Srivastava.

Gyanendra, who had been a bowling all rounder, was for all praise for UP spinners Piyush Chawala and Praveen Gupta. He said their bowling unsettled opposition.

''We are looking forward to next match against railways scheduled to start on November 29 next,'' the coach quipped.
