New Delhi, Nov 26 (UNI) Slamming the BJP for focusing its campaign solely on finding fault with the Sheila Dikshit-led Congress government in Delhi and not outlining any plans for development of the city, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today said they are asking to be voted to power but have no idea what they will do in Delhi in the name of development.

''The BJP's campaign for the Delhi Assembly polls is focussed just on finding faults with the work done by the Congress in the state. They are just harping on the fact that the Congress is not doing any work but are themselves not saying what they planned to do,''Mr Gandhi said at a rally in Seemapuri in East Delhi this afternoon.

''It is like telling the people of Delhi that 'you give us power but we do not know what we have to do','' Mr Gandhi said at the hugely attended rally where Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, DPCC President J P Aggarwal, Congress MPs Jagdish Tytler, Sajjan Kumar, Sandeep Dikshit, former DPCC president Rambabu Sharma and Delhi Cabinet Ministers A K Walia and Aravinder Singh Lovely were among those present.

Stating that for every party aspiring to form the Government, it is important as to what is their vision for the state's development, Mr Gandhi said, ''In the last ten years, Sheilaji has been working towards a vision for the Development of Delhi.

On the other hand, in the ten-page manifesto of the BJP, five pages have been devoted to the Congress while the other five also do not say anything about their plan for development but say that the BRT corridor will be cancelled.'' The Amethi MP, who recently campaigned for the Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, said,'' in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh too, the BJP has not done any development. And, now, they are raising the issue of terrorism in their campaign.'' Lauding the Sheila Dikshit Government for the developmental initiatives undertaken by it during ten years of its rule, Mr Gandhi said, ''In the last ten years, there has been constant development in Delhi. People living outside Delhi are aware of the massive development that has been going on in Delhi during the Congress rule. Infact, people who come to Delhi from outside tell me that whenever they visit Delhi after a gap of two months, they see a change in the face of the city.

Every month in the last ten years, two new schools have been constructed, new hospitals and flyovers have come up. The developmental work in Delhi is for everyone to see.'' ''What the Congress has done in the last ten years will be carried on with greater vigour in the next 5 years so it is very important that the Congress comes to power in Delhi for the process of development to continue,'' he added.
