Kohima, Nov 26 (UNI) An all-party meeting, convened by Nagaland Assembly Speaker Kiyaneilie Peseyie, to discuss on the Women Reservation Bill, 108 Amendment Act, 2008, remained inconclusive for the second time.

Official sources here today said the meeting, held at the Nagaland Assembly Secretariat last evening, deliberated and discussed on the 33 per cent reservation of women in Parliament and state Assembly and after a thorough discussion, the meeting decided to continue further talks on the issue in the future.

The meeting also decided to constitute a 'Select Committee' under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Ralangthung Yanthan to look into the issue.

A similar meeting, which was held at the same venue on October 3, also remained inconclusive.

Following the state government's declaration of 33 per cent reservation in the Municipal Councils, the people of Mokokchung town boycotted the Mokokchung Municipal Council election in October this year.
