New Delhi, Nov 26: Underworld don Abu Salem will be produced before a city court on Wednesday, Nov 26 afternoon in a case relating to threatening of a Delhi-based trader and extorting money from him six years ago. Security has been beefed up for lodging Salem in the Tihar jail. But it is being kept a closely-guarded secret in which ward of the jail he will be housed.
He is being brought to Delhi by Arthur road police by train, his lawyer told UNI on Wednesday, Nov 26 morning. Salem will be produced before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Tis Hazari courts at 1500 hrs. Salem had allegedly threatened East of Kailash trader Rajat Nagrath to kill him and demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore in 2002.
