2 police constables terminated for theft in UP
Lucknow, Nov 26 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has terminated from service the police constables, who had looted money from a person after injuring him critically in Siddharthnagar district.
The terminated police constables, Ramji Yadav and Rajesh Chourasia, had allegedly thrashed one Hai Mohammad under Misrauliya police station on Monday night.
State Additional Director General of Police (law and order) Brijlal said here today that both the constables were absconding and the injured Hai Mohammad had been admitted to the hospital in the state capital.
The constables had looted Rs 50,000 from the person. The government had earlier suspended the policemen.
