Srinagar, Nov 25 (UNI) Appealing to people to take part in the remaining five phases of elections in Jammu and Kashmir in large numbers and vote for Congress candidates, Union Minister of Water Resources Saifuddin Soz and former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said Congress alone will take the state forward.
Addressing a series of election rallies at Dachan, Marwah, Warwan in Kishtwar constituency and Souf Shalli in Kokernag assembly semgment Mr Soz said Congress alone could create conditions for vigorous dialogue and discussion.
He urged people that they must join electoral process in large numbers and vote for the Congress for their secure future and development.
Prof Soz, who is also PCC president, assured the people of backward areas of Dacchan, Marwah, and Warwan that the Congress if voted to power, would devise special project for development of these areas.
Mr Azad recalled the developmental activities carried out in these areas when he was Chief Minister.
He claimed that during his recent visit to different district in the state, he felt confident that the Congress party would form the government on its own.
