Mysuru, Nov 25: A 20-member delegation of the Health Committee, Greater Mumbai Corporation, visited the city on Monday, Nov 24.
They were welcomed by Mysore City Corporation Commissioner K.S. Raiker in the Council Hall. The team is on a study tour of Bangalore and Mysore to obtain details of the facilities for ayurvedic system of medicine in the two cities, in the backdrop of the fact that there are no ayurvedic hospitals under the Mumbai Corporation.
Health Committee Chairperson Shubhada Subhash Gudekar led the visiting team, which later visited Government Ayurveda Hospital here.
Devaraj, MCC Deputy Commissioner, Bharath, Revenue Officer, Kamala J. Venkatesh, Deputy Mayor, S.A. Ramdas, CM's Parliamentary Secretary and Corporators were present.
Raikar told the leader of the visiting team that a team of officials would later visit Mumbai to study the management of slums in the metropolis.

Madake and Dr. (Smt.) Wadangekar.
