HC directs its Registrar to correct national emblem
Kochi, Nov 25 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today directed its Registrar-General to make alterations to the national emblem displayed in its premises.
The directive was issued while allowing a petition filed by one Kalarkode Venugopalan Nair alleging that the national emblem at the High Court was not in accordance with law.
A Division Bench of Justices J B Koshy and Thomas P Joseph directed the Registrar to inscribe 'Satyameva Jayate' in Devanagri script below the profile of Lion Capital, rather than in English, as prescribed by law.
The court directed that the change should be made within three months.
