Dhoni suggests some changes in team for tomorrow's match

By Staff

Cuttack, Nov 25 (UNI) Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni today suggested some changes in the line-up for the fifth ODI against England here tomorrow and said there was no laxity in the team's commitment to make it 7-0.

His suggestion meant Virat Kholi, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan and Pragyan Ojha might make it to the playing XI in the day-night game at Barabati stadium as India has already pocketed seven-match ODI series with four straight wins.

Addressing the mediapersons here, Dhoni said the young players will have a chance to perform as they are already in the squad.

However, he did not specify details team and said the final line-up will be known only before the match.

Dhoni attributed India's wins to team spirit and said the four victories on a trot made things easier for his team to handle things in a better way.

''I think we are in a good situation and the credit goes to the whole team but it is for sure that we would like to win the series 7-0,'' Dhoni said.

He said the dew factor in the evening will have impact on the game but added that India was well equipped to take the opponents on every front.

''Yes, the dew factor would make an impact in the match but our bowlers have shown it in the series that they can combat any situation,'' he added.

Yuvraj Singh, who has been a catalyst to India's success especially in this series, also came in fo a lot of praise from his captain.

Dhoni said it was good to see that Yuvraj made a remarkable return to form and has become a threat to both bowlers and batsmen of the opposition.

''When he (Yuvraj) is in form, it is very difficult to bowl him out,'' Dhoni opined.

To a question, Dhoni said India was aiming to win all the three remaining games and keeping the slate clean.

''We needed a head start and that was achieved,'' he replied.
