Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 25: The Congress will take out a rally from Gangapur tehsil of the district on November 28, to create awareness among the masses on its developmental works and decisions taken in public interest, said Sanjay Balgude, state unit general secretary of the Congress.
Addressing a news conference here yesterday, Mr Balgude said ''The decisions that will be informed to people include loan waiver for farmers, availability of loan at four per cent interest to women's Self-Help Groups, investments in technical sector and financial aid for industrial growth.'' The cooperative and guardian minister Dr Patangrao Kadam will flag off the rally from Shivaji Chowk of Gangapur. MPCC president Mainkrao Thackeray will be present at the function.
The rally will pass through various villages like Gangapur, Paithan, Aurangabad, Sillod, Soyegaon, Kannad, Vaijapur, Khuldabad and Phulambri tehsils of the district, he said.
Replaying to question, Mr Balgude said his party would face the elections due next year by putting developmental works before people.
Over the issue of inflation, he said the whole world was facing the crisis.
