Gulbarga, Nov 24 (UNI) Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president R V Deshpande today made it clear that there will be no alliance with the JD(S) in the by-elections to the eight assembly seats in the state.
Addressing a press conference here, he admitted that there were some differences in the congress leaders in reaching an alliance with the JD(S) and moreover there was no positive response from the JD (S) either. "The congress party will fight the by-elections without any alliance with any party. We will announce the candidate names soon", he informed.
Launching a scathing attack on the Yaddyurappa led BJP government, he blamed that the BJP government had failed in all fronts and it had no moral rights to continue in power. "Except excise tax collection, the other sources of income to the government has declined considerable. The government's financial position was in an alarming state due to misadministration", he remarked.
