NE monsoon active over Kerala, Lakshadweep
Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 24 (UNI) The North-East monsoon was active over Kerala and rain occurred at most places in Lakshadweep.
The chief amount of rainfall recorded in cm were Haripad five, Ameni two, Chengannur three, Thiruvananthapuram airport and Thodupuzha two each and Alappuzha, Thiruvananthapuram city, Agathy, Kavaratti and Pandalam one each, the local weather office said.
Thiruvananthapuram city and airport recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 22 dc.
Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Kerala and heavy rain at isolated places in the state during the next 48 hours.
