Melbourne, November 24 : Grief-stricken Michelle Williams has revealed that her sorrow over the death of her former boyfriend Heath Ledger continues to "get worse".

Speaking at a candid interview, the 'Brokeback Mountain' star said that she continued to struggle with her emotions regarding her former beau's shocking death from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs.

Williams, who had split from the actor in 2007 and is raising the couple's three-year-old girl, Matilda, could not fight her tears on being asked about Ledger telling of her 'always changing' pain.

"I just wake up each day in a slightly different place. Grief is like a moving river, so that's what I mean by it's always changing," News.com.au quoted her as telling the Newsweek.

"It's a strange thing to say because I'm at heart an optimistic person, but I would say in some ways it just gets worse. It's just that the more time that passes, the more you miss someone," she added.

The actress has sparked frenzied rumours about her recent performance in the upcoming 2008 motion picture 'Wendy and Lucy', directed by Kelly Reichardt.
