Lindsay Lohan says her outspoken father is 'not a bad guy'

Washington, November 24 : Lindsay Lohan insists that her father Michael is "not a bad guy", despite his public disapproval and verbal attacks on the actress' girl lover Samantha Ross.

The 'Meangirls' star had dubbed her dad as a "bully" and a "coward" after he publicly called her girlfriend a "dark, hideous, and a disgusting representation of humanity".

Michael had later regretted his outburst and apologised.

The singer stood up to defend her father blaming his 'bad choices' for his otherwise good nature adding that her private life was no longer hers and that she'd gotten used to being under the public 'knife'.

"I would love to say it's surprising, but it's not. It doesn't bother me as much as embarrass and hurt me. And put a knife in my back," Contactmusic quoted her as saying

"And it's hard because I was flipping through channels and someone on E! called him a loser. And that's my f**king father! He's not a bad guy. He's just making bad choices," she added.
