Baripada, Nov 24 (UNI) The Mayurbhanj district of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has demanded inclusion of the ''Mundari''language of the Munda tribes, and the ''Kudmali'' language of the Kudumi Mohantas in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.

The JMM district committee, which met here on Sunday under the presidentship of Bhadhav Chandra Hansda, regretted that though the ''Santhal'' language had been included in the Eighth Schedule, many of the advantages had still remained elusive for the Santhali -speaking people.

The district committee voiced the demand for immediate appointment at least 1000 ''OL Chiki'' trained Santhali teachers so that the Santhali children could enjoy the advantage of getting ther lessons in their mother tongue - ''Santhali'' with the medium of their own script called ''OL-Chiki''.

The meeting also demanded the opening of a research wing in Santhali language in the North Orissa University. The JMM further demanded early establishment of a Government Medical College and a permanent Bench of Orissa High Court at Baripada, establishment of big industries in the mineral-rich Mayurbhanj district which could provide employment to large number of unemployed educated youths in the district.

The JMM, he said, had decided to hold mass dharna in front of the Block offices in all the 26 blocks on December 10 in the district followed by ''Mayurbhanj Bandh'' on December 17.
