New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Reacting sharply on the slow investigation in the murder case of a call centre executive Shalini Saxena, the Delhi High Court today issued notice to Delhi Police to reply in this regard by December 11.
A petition was filed by her father V K Saxena stating that the Police was inefficient to handle the case as no breakthrough was made so far. He also urged the court to transfer the case to the CBI.
Shalini, who was an executive with a call centre 'Global Vintage' in Gurgaon, was found murdered in her room at Gautam Nagar here on September 10.
Her roommate Sakshi Mehra told the police there was someone used to send her obscene messages but the police has not investigated this so far, Mr Saxena charged.
Justice Veena Birbal issued notice to the Delhi Police returnable by December 11.
