Chandigarh , Nov 24 (UNI) Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) has finalised the allotment of fully built-up Flatted Factories to entrepreneurs at Industrial Estate, Faridabad.
Disclosing this today, Mr Rajeev Arora, Managing Director of the Corporation informed that the Flatted Factories have been constructed in view of the persistent demand of small scale units through Faridabad Industries Association for providing built-up area between 700 to 800 square feet. The Corporation thereafter selected a suitable site at Industrial Estate, Sector 59, Faridabad and decided to construct Flatted Factories commensurating their requirements.
The project involves optimum utilisation of land by providing infrastructure in shape of multi-storeyed buildings for location of the Industrial units. Eligible projects to be set up within these Flatted Factories include Light Engineering, Information Technology, Printing Press, Garments manufacturing.
The Flatted Factories are being constructed over a plot area of 4273 square meters for 40 units of 77 square meters (828.52 square feet) area each. Expected capital expenditure on the project has been pegged at Rs 5.56 crore with a grant of Rs 4 crore from the State Government.
The Corporation invited applications sometime in June this year and received more than 50 applications against 40 units. The construction work is at an advanced stage and is likely to be completed by February next year.
