Vijayawada, Nov 24 (UNI) Airtel, India's leading mobile service provider has expanded its service to more than 75 new towns and villages in Vijayawada zone.
Announcing the launch in new towns here, Bharti Airtel Limited, Andhra Pradesh Chief Executive Officer (CEO), T Elango said as the airtel customers were based in the remote corners of Andhra Pradesh, the roll out in new towns and villages was a reflection of the company's committment to make airtel services available in the remotest area.
Stating that the airtel has the largest network across Andhra Pradesh enjoying the support of over 7.8 million customers, he said by connecting more than 3,375 towns and villages in Vijayawada zone of Khammam, West Godavari and Krishna districts, the company would now be able to cover 94 per cent of the population in the zone.
Locations like Annavaram, Kondaveedu, Garikapadu, Modukuru, Nellipaka, Gowrarm, Incumella, Vaivak and many more locations now have access to Airtel's unmatched network coverage, he added.
He said as a result of airtel's network expansion in these new towns and villages, customers can enjoy full connectivity on the country's largest GSM network.
