Severe Cold in Delhi, minimum drops to 9.4 Deg C
New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) Severe cold today gripped Delhi with the minimum temperature plummeting to 9.4 Degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature, which has been staying above normal over the last few days, today fell sharply, from 11 Degree Celsius yesterday, to 9.4 Degree C, two degrees below normal.
For the third consecutive day today, the maximum temperature also stayed two degrees below normal at 25.2 Degree Celsius.
Weathermen said the cold conditions which followed a strong thunderstorm on Thursday that brought about a sharp drop in the mercury, are likely to continue in the coming days.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
