TN paid homage to Murasoli Maran

Chennai, Nov 23: Floral tributes were paid to senior DMK leader Murasoli Maran on the occasion of his fifth death anniversary on Sunday, Nov 23.

DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi led the State in paying homage to the former Union Minister and DMK ideologue by showering rose petals at the Statue of Mr Maran installed in the premises of DMK Party organ ''Murasoli.'' Several Ministers and senior DMK leaders were present on the occasion.

DMK leaders across the State paid rich tributes to Maran by showering flowers to his decorated portrait.
