Mumbai, Nov 23 (UNI) Ashutosh Kaushik, who hails from Saharanpur district in Uttar Pradesh, won the popular ''Big Boss-2'' reality show to be richer by Rs one crore.
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar announced the winners in presence of the show's host and actor Shilpa Shetty, and evicted contestants of Big Boss house and their families.
The other house-mates Bhojpuri -- filmmaker Raja Chaudhary became the first runner-up, while model-turned actor Zulfi Sayed the second runner-up. Rahul Mahajan, son of slain BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, was named the ''Bada Dilwala''of the house, to drive away with an Aveo Yuva car.
Ashutosh, an ex MTV Roadies winner, credited his victory to Rahul and the public. Asked what he would do with the prize money, he said, ''I don't know yet. The win is yet to sink in. I will decide after a few days. But I plan to buy a house in Mumbai,'' Actor Monica Bedi, who went into the house again as a wild card entrant, along with participants of the first season of the show, including Ravi Kissen and Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant performed during the finale.
The 15 inmates of the house in the 97-day season two included Congress party spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam, who was the first one to be evicted, comedian Ehsaan Qureshi, TV actors Ketaki Dave, Rakhi Vijayan and former Miss world Diana Hayden.
