Kodagu player selected for Karnataka hockey team

Madikeri, Nov 22 (UNI) Vithan Thammaih, a resident of Nittangala in Kodagu district, was selected to play for the Karnataka hockey team.

He will participate in the U-19 nationals to be held from December 26 to January 1 at Patiala.

Vithan was selected for state hockey and basketball tournaments at the age of 14. Presently the youth is studying at Mysore.
