Trauma care experts to heal bomb-scarred Assam

Guwahati, Nov 21 (UNI) Trauma care experts of international repute will soon visit Assam to help people emerge from the scars of the serial blasts that had rocked the state on October 30, leaving 88 dead.

The Art Of Living foundation will bring in the experts, who have experience in lending the healing touch to those affected during Iraq War, Tsunami and 9/11 tragedy, among others.

The mobile trauma care would begin its work within the next two days, by launching the campaign from Ganeshguri blast site of Guwahati and also conduct a special workshop at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital, Art of Living teachers here informed. The experts would be in the state for about six months and would reach out to all those directly or indirectly affected by the blasts.

The team of experts would include psychiatrists and members of Art of Living.
