Three-day session of Tripura Assembly begins
Agartala, Nov 21 (UNI) The three-day winter session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly began here today.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Tapan Chakraborty said besides regular business, a new Bill regarding the constitution of commission for religious minority would be tabled in the House.
Leader of the Opposition Ratan Lal Nath criticised the Left Front government and alleged that it was trying to avoid the Assembly fearing the Opposition members.
''We have some serious issues to discuss in the House like the serial of blasts in Agartala, growing incidence of road accidents, nexus between Jihadi elements and CPM MLA Sahid Choudhury and fake Scheduled Caste certificate of a Left Front MLA, but do not know whether we will able to raise these in the session,'' Mr Nath added.
