Electricity bills of single-point connection will be waived: Chouhan
Guna, MP, Nov 21 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said electricity bills of single-point connection consumers will be waived if the BJP returned to power.
Mr Chouhan, while addressing an election meeting to canvass votes in the favour of party candidate from Bamhori assembly seat K L Agrawal, said high schools would be opened up in every village for promoting education, employment provided to one lakh people and wheat provided to poor at Rs two per kg.
He said the government had made every possible effort to make agriculture a profitable business. Next time, priority would be provide agricultural loans at three per cent interest to farmers and providing irrigation to dry lands.
