Srinagar, Nov 21 (UNI) Despite undeclared curfew in the entire city today, a fresh batch of 395 Hajis from Jammu and Kashmir left for Jeddah from Sheikh-ul-Alam airport.
With the death of four more Hajjis-- two each in Madinah and Makkah--, the toll of Indian pilgrims who died during the pilgrimage from October 30 reached to 29.
Official sources said 395 Hajis left for Jeddah from here in two special flights.
The total number of pilgrims who left from here for undertaking the pilgrimage during 2008 has reached to 5916.
About 8000 from Jammu and Kashmir are to take part in Hajj-2008.
