RBI fixes reference rate at Rs 50.52 per USD
Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US dollar at Rs 50.52 per unit, up by 78 paise, against its yesterday's rate of Rs 49.74 per dollar.
Similarly, the reference rate for Euro increased by 34 paise to Rs 63.12 per unit from its last close of Rs 62.78 per unit, an RBI release said.
The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the rupee were quoted at Rs 75.5426 (Rs 74.3737) per Pound and Rs 53.12 (Rs 51.47) per 100 units of Yen, the release added.
