Polling station set up for 2 voters in Kathua
Jammu, Nov 20 (UNI) A special polling station has been set up for two voters in Kathua district for the fifth phase of Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
''A polling station has been set up at District Industries Centre only for two voters, which speaks of the high importance being attached to the democratic rights and the convenience of the voters at Kathua district,'' an official spokesman told UNI.
Kathua district is going to polls on December 13 while the polling will be held in the two constituencies of the Samba district on December 24.
''Kathua district has five assembly constituencies, one of them being in reserved category. In all, 3,99,333 electors, including 1,92,350 females, are eligible to exercise their franchise in the Bani, Basohli, Kathua, Billawar and Hiranagar Assembly Constituencies,'' the spokesman said.
