Fake notes worth lakhs seized
Nashik, Nov 20 (UNI) City police have seized fake notes totalling to lakhs of rupees, from a mobile shop at Gangapur Road area here.
According to sources, acting on a tip-off, police raided the shop ''Mobile World,'' that started its business only last week, and seized fake notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 denomination, totalling to Rs 10 lakh approximately late last night. Police also seized a computer, printer, scanner and pen drive in the raid.
A case has been registered against three people including director of the shop Sanjay Verma and a worker Sudhakar Pande, who has been arrested.
