Chennai, Nov 19 (UNI) Leading US-based IT and BPO services provider, Technosoft Global Services today opened its new facility, the largest in India, at the DLF IT park.
The new facility, spread over 20,000 sq ft with an initial investment of Rs two million, was inaugurated by US Consul General in Chennai, Andrew Simkin.
Talking to reporters, Technosoft CEO Rajiv Tandon and founder Chairman G Radhakrishnan said this was the second facility in Chennai and the third in India. The company would further invest another Rs two to three million in this facility, which would have a head count of 600, taking its total strength to 1,600 by the end of next year.
The new Centre would focus on the middle markets in the US which provide huge opportunities for the firm, especially in health care system. This sector has, by and large, remained unaffected by the global meltdown.
The company was looking at a revenue of 70 million US dollars during the current year ending December and was expected to sustain the 25 per cent growth year on year, despite the global economic crisis.
The company was also looking at expanding to tier two cities also, Mr Tandon said.
