New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi will campaign in the Mangolpuri Assembly seat on November 23 while Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will address a rally in the Ambedkar Nagar Assembly segment on November 27, adding glitter to the electioneering of the party in the Capital.
The Congress is locked in a three-cornered contest with the BJP and the BSP in the November 29 Delhi Assembly elections.
The Congress has fielded Rajkumar Chauhan on the Mangolpuri seat, while Delhi Assembly Speaker Prem Singh is testing electoral waters on a party ticket in the Ambedkar Nagar seat.
Both the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates.
Speaker Singh is pitted against Suresh Pehalwan of the BJP, Mr Chauhan is facing Mr Yogesh Atrey of the saffron party.
AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has yet to give his nod and his programme for the Delhi election is being worked out, party sources added.
Counting of votes will be taken up on December 8.
