Washington, Nov 19 : Even though she's one of America's most sought after actresses, Reese Witherspoon has revealed that it was not the case when she was growing up.
The 32-year-old star has revealed that she grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, where she had not been as popular as she presently is, especially when it came to games and looks.
"I had giant Coke bottle glasses when I was little and I was always the midget, the little one. No one would pick me on the kickball teams," Fox News quoted her as saying.
The 'Walk the Line' star, who received an Academy Award in 2006 for the movie, further revealed that she turned to her secret alter ego, as a country music singer, only when she was driving. "I pretend that I'm a country music singer in my car and I'm really good in my car, amazing," she stated.
"It's just when I get out of my car, I'm not very good at all," she added.
