Hyderabad, Nov 19: Sapat International Limited, a leader in the Chai tradition of India since 1897, Wednesday, Nov 19 announced the launch of India's first luxury tea brand 'Chaitime,' which is a reinterpretation of the legendary Indian chai experience for a global audience.
''At a time when India has stepped into the global stage, it is only befitting that we have Indian brands with international quality and standards, which can compete in the global market. We are proud to launch one of the first luxury F &B brands from India,'' Sapat International Limited Brand Director Ritu Joshi, said in a statement. The current offering consists of 15 distinct and authentic varieties in four different ranges -- Experience Chai, Masala Chai, an Organic Tea range and Single-origin Tea.
Priced in the range from Rs 395 to Rs 995, the tea is available in individual tins and gift boxes at leading lifestyle stores, including International Airport Duty free and Luxury Hotels in Hyderabad.
