AP: BJP legislator, Dorababu joins Congress

Hyderabad, Nov 19: BJP Legislator from Pitapuram constituency Dorababu on Wednesday, Nov 19 joined the Congress along with his supporters in the presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and PCC Chief D Srinivas at the party headquarters Gandhi Bhavan here.

The Chief Minister and the PCC President welcomed him into the partyfold by felicitating him with a party flag. Mr Srinivas described Mr Dorababu as a disciplined legislator, who did a remarkable work for his constituency.

With Mr Dorababu quitting the BJP to join the Congress, the BJP's strength has come down to only one in the assembly.
