Bangalore: Travel anywhere in Karnataka for Rs 700
Bengaluru, Nov 19: Then Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched Suvarna Ticket scheme where you can travel anywhere in the state anytime during the weekends in super luxury Rajahamsa buses for just Rs 700.
The scheme to be launched on Wednesday will allow passengers to travel to places where Rajahamsa bus service is available during weekends - on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But this is subject to availability of seats.
There is no guarantee of availability of seats as this doesn't have the advance booking facility. The traveller can straightaway board the bus and occupy the unreserved seats. There is no restriction on the number of tickets and the entire family can avail this special scheme, according to KSRTC marketing department chief Nagaraj.
The new scheme is launched to attract more number of people to travel with KSRTC and the corporation can sell tickets in bulk in advance, explains Nagaraj. The tickets are available at all the counters where KSRTC advance booking service is available. Commuters can even buy them in the bus from the conductor directly.
