150 SP activists detained in UP district
Bhadohi, Nov 19 (UNI) Altogether 150 Samajwadi Party activists were detained today by police for disturbing peace in this district of Uttar Pradesh.
The mob was agitating the registration of a case against as many as 500 people of a particular community on October 28. As per the charges, they had hurled bombs at a police station over a murder case.
Of them, 50 were named in the FIR, Additional Police Superintendent Daddan Lal said.
However, when the SP activists were protesting the issue, police detained them on charges of disturbing peace, he added.
