Bhopal, Nov 18 (UNI) 'Jhoot kalyug ka chavanprash hai aur ise khanewale hamesha chamakte damakte rahte hain (Lie is the tonic of Kalyug and those consuming it are always shining and glowing)'.
This is the slogan of the 'Jhoot Base Party (party based on lie)', which is using lie as its weapon to fight for truth. The agenda of the party includes attracting the attention of people towards ills plaguing the world's largest democracy.
Jhoot Base Party President Daduram Chaukanna, who is basically a litterateur, intends to make people aware about changing political scenario and exposing real faces of political leaders.
According to Mr Chaukanna, lie was pervading everywhere today.
Everyone was speaking lie over secularism.
Mr Chaukanna said the party was formed in 2003. However, the party has fielded one candidate, Mr Vijay Kumar Agnihotri, who is a handicapped, this time from Satna assembly seat. Mr Agnihotri was contesting as an independent. Mr Chaukanna hoped to get ideological support from people.
Pinched by underdevelopment of Satna, Mr Chaukanna launched the party to make people and political leaders aware in a different manner.
Posters and banners of the party are also interesting with slogans written upon it raising several pertinent questions related to a democracy.
Mr Agnihotri claims that he will set the things right.
Mr Chaukanna denied that the attempt was an effort to make people laugh. He said satire not only made one laugh but also to think about the matter seriously.
