Pak FM Mehmood Qureshi to visit India next week

This would be the continuation of an earlier visit in June this year which remained incomplete because he had to return unexpectedly, local English daily The News reported on Tuesday, Nov 18. Mr Qureshi would be meeting with the women journalists' press body in New Delhi. Later on, the Indian government would fly him to Chandigarh to attend a meeting of the farmers' association. Mr Qureshi, who is the president of Pakistan's farmers' association, would speak of the need for more cooperation between the two bodies. Though the foreign minister had met the Indian leadership on his earlier visit, efforts are underway by the Pakistan High Commission to arrange bilateral meetings with various dignitaries.
