Nagaland unit of RJD merges with NPF
Kohima Nov 18 (UNI) The Nagaland unit of Rashtriya Janata Dal(RJD) has decided to merge en bloc with the Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) after finalising the modalities.
This was announced here today by Nagaland RJD Chief T N Mannen at the NPF's General Convention, 2008, held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium.
''The DAN has been able to usher in development in Nagaland under the able leadership of Neiphiu Rio,'' Mr Mannen said.
According to him, the members of RJD's Nagaland unit wanted to cooperate with the Chief Minister for the state's development and therefore, decided to merge en masse with the NPF.
The Nagaland Chief Minister, during his speech, also welcomed the RJD members to the NPF.
