England team reaches Kanpur for Nov 20 match

Kanpur, Nov 18 (UNI) Even as the visiting England team has arrived at hotel Landmark this evening, the Men in Blue were on the way to the city to play the third one dayer match at Green Park stadium on November 20.

The players of the England team were given a traditional welcome on arrival at the hotel.

The Indian team was, however, still on the way to the industrial city as it had headed towards pace bowler R P Singh's house from the Amausi airport in Lucknow.

The English team was escorted with heavy security from Lucknow airport to hotel Landmark.

Tight security measures were adopted around the hotel, where huge crowd of cricket fans had assembled to have a glimpse of the players.

The teams would have their net practice tomorrow at Green Park stadium.
