BJP alleges conspiracy against Pragya
Bhopal, Nov 18 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party's Madhya Pradesh Vice-President Anil Madhav Dave today alleged that a political conspiracy led to action against Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, a former Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad worker accused of the Malegaon serial blasts.
''The entire matter seems a conspiracy hatched to insult and defame Hindu society and nationalist organisations. The illegal action of Maharashtra's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) -- which works under Congress protection -- stands exposed. The ATS has the right to investigate but not to work like a court. The harassment meted out to the Sadhvi amounts to human rights violation,'' he told reporters here.
Taking a dig at Union Commerce and Industry Minister Kamalnath, Mr Dave alleged that the former could never think of the good of farmers as he turned Nelson's eye on the Swaminathan Commission's recommendations.
