Two revenue officials arrested in bribery case
Patna, Nov 17 (UNI) Sleuths of Bihar state vigilance bureau today arrested circle inspector and a revenue clerk while they were receiving Rs 20,000 as bribe at Jainagar Block in Madhubani district today.
Official sources said here that circle inspector Mahesh Kumar and revenue clerk Vijay Kumar were caught red handed when they were receiving the cash from a villager to favour him in a land dispute case.
The trap was laid following a complaint registered at the bureau office, sources said adding both arrested would be produced before the special vigilance court of Muzaffarpur tomorrow.
