SAARC Home Ministers meet postponed
New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) The SAARC Home Ministers meeting scheduled to be held on November 27 in Islamabad has been postponed.
A home ministry spokesman said here that as per the information received, the meeting of Home Ministers, Home Secretaries and Police Chiefs of the seven SAARC nations has been postponed.
However, he refused to give any reason for the postponement.
Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta was scheduled to head the Indian delegation to the SAARC Home Secretaries meet scheduled for November 26 while Director Intelligence Bureau P C Haldar would have met with his counterparts from other SAARC nations on November 25 to discuss common challenges being faced by the nations of the region.
