Kolkata, Nov 17 (UNI) Newly formed West Bengal Pragatisheel Indira Congress Committee (PIC) president Somen Mitra today demanded Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's resignation for the administrative failures.
'' The CPI(M) led Left Front government is ruling the state since thirty two years but their administrative failure is well known '' veteren Congress leader Mr Mitra told newspersons here.
He said, the public expressed confidence in the judicial system after the Tapasi Malik murder case judgement but CPI(M) stood behind the culprits instead giving them punishment.
They had deprived the tribals for long and their mass movement could not be stopped by identifying them as Maoists, he added.
He furter alleged that the government has failed on every fronts including the problems of hills, PTTI, BESU and school education.
'' Our movement against the government's failure would continue and we demand that the chief minister should resign because he has lost his credibility '' Mr Mitra said.
