Mumbai, Nov 17 (UNI) Engineering major Larsen&Toubro (L&T) has bagged three contracts worth Rs 937 crore for water treatment and supply in Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.

A company release today said it would undertake a Rs 582 crore, 24-month engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) water supply project for Hyderabad Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) under the Godavari Drinking Water Supply Project Phase-I.

The project will involve construction of trunk mains of MS pipe for 58 km to bring 735 million litres per day (MLD) treated water to Hyderabad city.

The company will undertake another two EPC projects from Delhi Jal Board, valued at Rs 355 crore, that would involve testing and commissioning of MS twin-pipeline from Bawana to Dwaraka (Package 1A), and a design and construction of a 20 million gallons per day (MGD) water treatment plant (WTP) at Okhla. Both projects are to be completed in 21 months.
