Superstition in Indo-England ODI in Indore
Indore, Nov 16 (UNI) In order to ward off evil from one-day International cricket match between India and England scheduled here tomorrow in Usha Raje Stadium, the stadium authorities have been allegedly using charms.
A black earthen pot was put on a stick with a caution ''Buri nazar wale tere munh kala'' to save the ready pitch and lush green ground. However, when this superstitious act caught meadia attention then it was removed immediately.
Though the stadium authorities denied any comment.
In a match played between India and Sri Lanka the pitch was deteriorated merely after three overs 10 years ago and due to which match was forced to be closed.
Sources said that to avoid any such malfunctioning the superstition was practised in the stadium.
