Macau, Nov 16 (UNI) India's Aditya Patel finished a creditable sixth in the Formula BMW Pacific race that was run as part of the 55th Macau Grand Prix at the Guia street circuit here today.
The 19-year-old from Chennai, who was representing Team Eurasia Motorsport, had finished ninth in qualifying yesterday. But he improved by three places on the grid in the six-lap race around the 6.12 km circuit.
There was more to cheer for Team Eurasia Motorsport as their Japanese driver Kimiyo Sato, who had qualified sixth, finished third.
The top two positions were held by Team Motaworld's duo of Mihai Marinescu of Romania and Michael Christensen of Denmark.
