Srinagar, Nov 16 (UNI) Two militants, who had entered India from Pakistan via Nepal, were arrested by the Army on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, official sources said today.

They said during routine checking of vehicles entering Kashmir valley from Jammu, troops of 49 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) near Jawahar tunnel questioned two suspected passengers.

Later, they admitted that they had crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and received arms training. However, because of tight security arrangements on the Line of Control (LoC), they decided to enter the Valley via Nepal.

Sources said they travelled to Nepal from Pakistan and then entered India. They had started their journey from Jammu last morning but were caught by the Army.

This is the second such incident when security forces arrested militants who had used the Nepal route to enter the Valley.
