Jaya asks partymen to avoid sycophancy
Chennai, Nov 16 (UNI) All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) General Secretary and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa today asked her partymen to avoid sycophancy while addressing public meetings.
A release from AIADMK office here said Ms Jayalalithaa has warned the partymen to stop flattering the party administrators or the district secretaries, who organise meetings in their public speeches.
The AIADMK supremo said often it is noticed that the speakers concentrate more on ''pampering'' the organisers than on addressing the shortcomings and inefficient performance of the minority Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Government.
The speakers should concentrate on highlighting the efficient governance of the previous AIADMK Government, comparing it to the inept handling of power crisis and alarming price rise of essential commodities in the DMK regime under the leadership of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi and his colleagues in their speeches, she added.
The AIADMK is the only opposition party in the State, raising its voice boldly against the anti-people policies pursued by the DMK Government with renewed vigour, the release added.
